Very honored and humbled to take part in the Wreaths Across America program for the 5th consecutive year. This year we were at the Cheltenham Veteran Cemetary in Maryland and we'll devote our time and energy there until every headstone receives a wreath. We have alot of work to do but we are up to the task.
VISION: To successfully provide awareness to the community about Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and by recognizing the men and women that have served in the Armed Forces and pay special tribute to those service members that have paid the ultimate sacrifice or suffered a life altering disability while serving.
MISSION: The Not Forgotten Foundation is a true reflection of the Armed Forces and an ambassador to the civilian community by providing awareness and recognition to the men and women that have served in the Armed Forces. We measure success through personal development and teamwork, ethical and responsible behavior on and off the field, adherence to the rules, leadership, strength of character, and sportsmanship. We accept victory with humility and acknowledge defeat with grace.
OVERVIEW: Our teams are located throughout the United States and overseas. They play in both civilian and military tournaments and leagues across the country and overseas. Each team is governed by specific operating guidance as provided by the Not Forgotten Foundation. The Not Forgotten Foundation is dedicated to promoting the awareness and recognition of both past and present service members who have made sacrifices and have served our great nation. The Not Forgotten Foundation participates in events all year around in order to promote awareness and recognition to service members.
We are Veteran Owned and provide military apparel to celebrate our American Heroes (Veterans).
Not Forgotten Softball Tournament in 2014. Explaining our purpose.
Winter Worlds 2014
Retired U.S. Air Force Master Sgt. Joseph Kasper started the NotForgotten Softball team out of Joint Base Andrews in 2014. At the time, his vision was simple: play softball and not forget the U.S. Army, United States Air Force, U.S. Navy, U.S. Marine Corps and U.S. Coast Guardmembers who gave the ultimate sacrifice. Since then, Not Forgotten has expanded to 10 teams around the country. August 11-14, the Not Forgotten softball teams took their message with them to the 2016 USSSA-Slowpitch Softball Military Worlds Tournament in Augusta, Ga., with the hope that through the sport, others would be reminded of the price of freedom.
